Wara here is someone who almost defies introduction. She is a person uniquely unique in a country full of unique individuals that prides itself on said uniqueness. She is not quite lolita, not quite Akihabara-style, not quite sure of her way but somehow making it work all the same. What she does love is being in front of the camera and I think it shows in this collection. Wara would often talk about idols of various sorts, gravure and pop alike, that inspire her and seek to get the same interaction with the camera found there.
In that regard, I think that this was a great success. As we progressed in our shooting, we kind of came to a nature theme, focusing on the fall leaves that were still present in Kichijoji’s Inokashira Park despite it being just two days before Christmas. Either way, as a model, she was a great pleasure to work with and don’t be surprised to see her popping up again in the near future.
