Sagiri is a woman who I was pleasantly surprised to meet one day when out at my local izakaya. She has lived in my town her entire life and has known many, many of the other foreigners who have lived in the apartment I currently reside in. I was surprised when she finally agreed to have me over to do a photoshoot in her house, which I always thought was an excellent place given how it’s all made of wood and has this delightful rustic flavor to it. She was rather into it and I hope to work with her more in the future.
