This shot was shot on July 13th, 2011. KHylin, the stage name for Hyobae Park, is a foreign exchange current student at Waseda University from Korea and does live concerts on the side. Despite her small stature and cheerful disposition, she packs quite a powerful and versatile voice as I discovered when seeing her perform everything from American Gospel to J-pop and hitting all the right notes throughout.
I had the pleasure of having been invited to take shots from her recent concert which she graciously put to use on for a video of her cover of Mariah Carrey’s “Hero.” So with that, I say 감사합니다, KHylin!
